Virginia prospects take in Mountaineers

West Virginia didn't travel to play James Madison at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. for the competition. Clearly, this was a game scheduled to increase the Mountaineers' exposure in the key recruiting areas around Washington and Baltimore.
Few prospects are more important to impress than Da'Shawn Hand from Woodbridge (Va.) High. The defensive lineman has dozens of scholarship offers and will certainly be one of the top 2014 prospects in the region – if not the nation. Hand was, well, on hand to see West Virginia hammer James Madison 42-12.
“It was cool,” Hand said of the game. “It was good to be with my teammates and my coach. It was a blowout.”
