Taquan Mizzell announced what most of the recruiting world had long belived. He is committed to Virginia.
Mizzell, No. 85 in the ESPN 150 and the nation's No. 10 running back, made his decision on Tuesday afternoon, choosing the Cavaliers over North Carolina and West Virginia. The announcement was hardly a surprise. The four-star tailback from Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside had long said Virginia was the leader for his services. He said he was relatively sure he would commit to Virginia for weeks, if not months, but wanted to go through the recruiting process.
In the end, he couldn't pass up Virginia.
