Melvin Keihn has two more scholarship offers to consider.
The junior linebacker from Baltimore Gilman recently picked up scholarship offers from Virginia Tech and North Carolina.
“Great schools!” Keihn stated via text message to ESPN. “Virginia Tech is known as one of the best football programs in the ACC. Also UNC is a good school academics-wise and football-wise.”
Keihn, who also has scholarship offers from Maryland, West Virginia, Rutgers, Wake Forest, Charlotte, Boston College and Miami, is admittedly in the dark concerning most of the schools recruiting him, as he hasn't taken many visits. He said that will change this fall.
“I have a feeling I will be getting around my junior year,” he said.
Michigan is a school well worth watching. The Wolverines have shown strong interest but haven't yet offered the 6-foot-3, 225-pound Keihn a scholarship. His close friend and teammate, ESPN 300 defensive lineman Henry Poggi, is committed to sign with Michigan in February.
