Kent State is on top for Clairton (Pa.) athlete Terrish Webb, but it would be wise not to look too much into it just yet. The Pittsburgh-area playmaker has visited only the Golden Flashes.
“My favorite would probably be Kent State right now,” he said, “because that’s the only one I went on a visit to, and I liked it.”
That is not to say Webb wasn't impressed while on his visit.
“I felt comfortable there talking to the coaches,” Webb said. “They’re graduating four seniors at [receiver], so I’d have the chance to play if I went up there.”
Akron and Arkansas State have also offered the 6-foot, 170-pound Webb, who scored two touchdowns in the state championship to help Clairton to a third consecutive title.
Akron and Pittsburgh, which has not offered, are recruiting Webb at cornerback. Arkansas State, Bowling Green and Kent State are recruiting Webb at receiver.
