If you're a Boston College football fan you didn't have much to cheer about on national signing day.
BC brought in a 16-player class that was ranked near the bottom of the ACC by most experts. Perhaps most concerning to the BC fan base was the fact that so many in-state players chose to go elsewhere.
The talent in Massachusetts this year was deeper than most years, including four-star athlete Armani Reeves (Ohio State), three-star linebacker Camren Williams (Ohio State), three-star linebacker Abner Logan (Maryland), three-star athlete Canaan Severin (Virginia), three-star offensive tackle Eric Olson (Northwestern) and three-star tight end Jameson McShea (Harvard).

The East Region consists of the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. Programs from all over the country consider the East Region fertile recruiting territory and it's not uncommon for kids to sign with teams from the ACC, Big East, Big Ten and SEC.
