With the New England Patriots finishing up their AFC Divisional playoff victory over Denver close to midnight EST on Saturday, it was up in the air as to whether new Penn State coach Bill O'Brien, still serving as the Pats' offensive coordinator, would make it to State College afterwards.

"He was telling me that he's ready to start a new era for Penn State and put things the way it was," Lewis said.
