Cameron Shorey hoping for BC offer

It appears that Cameron Shorey (Calais, Maine/Phillips Exeter Academy) will be one of the few Maine residents from the Class of 2012 who ends up playing Division I college football.
Shorey, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound tight end/defensive end, is currently considering three FCS schools – Maine, New Hampshire and Villanova – but said there's still a chance he could land a late offer from Boston College.

The East Region consists of the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia. Programs from all over the country consider the East Region fertile recruiting territory and it's not uncommon for kids to sign with teams from the ACC, Big East, Big Ten and SEC.
