The latest offer 2013 offensive lineman John Montelus (Everett, Mass.) received was the one his mom was waiting for.
Boston College pulled the trigger on an offer in late November. Montelus, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound junior, previously had received offers from Connecticut, N.C. State, Syracuse and Virginia.
“Academic-wise, it's a good school,” Montelus said. “It's close to home, and my mom wants me to be close to home.”
