There is a great crop of young basketball players in the next few recruiting classes from the state of Alabama.
Players like C Jimmie Taylor (Greensboro, Ala./Greensboro), SG Detrick Mostello (Decatur, Ala./Austin), G Jeremy Johnson (Montgomery, Ala./Carver), PF DeOntaye Curtis (Hoover, Ala./Hoover) and SF Seab Webster (Gurley, Ala./Madison Co.) are well know entities in the 2013 class, while the 2014 class has well-known headliners in Lewis Sullivan (Meridianville, Ala./Hazel Green) and Justin Coleman (Birmingham, Ala./Wenonah) receiving attention from high majors throughout the South.
It’s time to add another player to the high-major mix in 2014 PF Riley Norris (Albertville, Ala./Albertville). College coaches are just starting to hear about him, but expect his recruiting profile to rise as many coaches get a chance to catch a glimpse of him for the first time during the spring evaluation period.
