Here is a look at the top performances from the past week (Jan. 1-Jan. 7) from some of the top players in the country, ranked in our ESPN 100, 60 or 25.
Class of 2013: ESPN 100
No. 1 Andrew Wiggins, SF
Wiggins scored 18 points and grabbed nine boards but it wasn’t enough on Friday night as Huntington Prep suffered its first loss of the season, 59-46 to Prime Prep Academy (Texas). On Saturday the Express bounced back behind Wiggins’ 29 points and 11 rebounds in a 45-41 win over Wesleyan Christian (N.C.).
No. 2 Jabari Parker, SF
Parker scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds but Simeon fell to No. 1 Montverde Academy (Fla.) 82-53 on Saturday in an ESPN2 game.
