Here is a look at the top performances from the past week (Dec. 25-Dec. 31) from some of the top players in the country, ranked in our ESPN 100, 60 or 25.
No. 2 Jabari Parker, SF
Parker returned to the court last Thursday and scored 20 points, grabbed six rebounds and added five assists in 16 minutes of action as Simeon crushed East Moline United Township 77-20 at the Pontiac Holiday Tournament. He went for 11 points and seven rebounds in Friday’s 88-53 rout of Bloomington. Parker’s 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists helped the Wolverines knock off Curie 62-57 on Saturday afternoon. The future Duke Blue Devil had 14 points and 13 rebounds as Simeon won its 11th Pontiac title on Saturday night with a 60-47 decision over West Aurora.
