Best of the Holiday Classic Day 1

SAN DIEGO -- The 23rd Annual Holiday Classic tipped off Wednesday and there were a number of fine performances. Overall, the storied tourney isn't as deep this year as in seasons past, but it still features a bevy of Division I prospects, including ESPN 100 No. 23 senior Jabari Bird (Richmond, Calif./Salesian), ESPN 60 No. 9 junior Justise Winslow (Houston/St. John’s) and ESPN 25 No. 2 sophomore Ivan Rabb (Oakland/Bishop O'Dowd).

Here were some of the best performances from Day 1 on Wednesday. The tournament runs through Saturday.
