2015 PF Owens is a rebounding machine 

Class of 2015 power forward Alex Owens (Oldsmar, Fla./Oldsmar Christian) has been turning heads and earning high praise for his play during the first few weeks of the season. The 6-foot-8, 230-pounder is a terrific rebounder, shot blocker and a powerful finisher above the rim. Owens is off to a fast start in 2012, averaging 13 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks a game. He turned in statement performances with double-doubles against premier squads Quality Education Academy and Princeton Day and has powered Oldsmar off to a 8-4 start.

Owens rebounds in and out of his area, can face up and straight-line drive from the high post. He is also adept at knocking down the 15-foot shot with time and space.

"I am a good rebounder because I am long, athletic and quick to the ball,” notes Owens. “I run the floor well and do whatever coach asks me to do.”
