Preseason events bring out top Ohio talent

The Thanksgiving Showcase Scrimmage and the All-Ohio Nike Slam-N-Jam Basketball Preview were held over the holiday weekend. These annual events are two of the better preseason tournaments in Ohio and feature some of the best teams in the state. The events are held in Central Ohio but attract teams from across the state. Here is a list of some of the best talent present.

College Bound

Clemmye Owens (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers)
2013, SG, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds
Signed: Bethune-Cookman
Owens is a big-time scorer. He’s undersized but knows how to put the ball in the basket. He has a chance to be an immediate impact player at Bethune-Cookman
