Hayes provides Badgers with versatility 
A power forward with a skill set you can build upon, Hayes’ jumper is solid like his game from the high-post area. When he is not shooting a jumper, he can drive it efficiently or run a dribble handoff facing the basket. His versatility continues as he you can put him in ball-screen situations and he will be scoring threat either rolling or popping.
When he goes inside in the low post, his ability is now good enough to score with his back to the basket as he favors his left shoulder to make his jump hook. As he makes his post move, he possesses the instincts to spin off and away from his defender to find the rim. Utilizing his length and athletic ability, he will take rebounds outside of his area.
