First, they’re all top prospects who came off the board in recent weeks, and second, they’re all excellent 3-point shooters who help space the floor on offense.

These four commitments are representative of a recruiting trend that has been gaining momentum for several years now and stems from the decline of quality long-range shooters in the college game.
