Point guard Frank Mason (Petersburgh, Va./Massanutten Military) gave a verbal pledge to Kansas on Monday, ESPN.com has confirmed.
Mason made his decision following his official visit to Lawrence, Kan., this weekend. The post-grad prospect originally signed with Towson as a senior last year but opted for a fifth year.
Mason chose the Jayhawks over Rutgers, Maryland, UTEP, South Carolina and Virginia Tech. He will join KU's top-25 class which also features ESPN 100 guard's Conner Frankamp (Wichita, Kan./North) and Brannen Greene (Monroe, Ga./Tift County).
