Frank Martin lands two for 2012

New South Carolina head coach Frank Martin nabbed his first recruits for the Gamecocks on Thursday night with pledges from 6-foot-8 small forward Minda Kacinas (Lithuania/Word of Life School) and 6-foot-5 wing Thaddeus Hall (Brooklyn, N.Y./Thomas Jefferson), The Spartanburg Herald-Journal is reporting.

Kacinas averaged nearly 26 points and 15 rebounds this past season at Word of Life. He was recruited by Martin while he was in charge at Kansas State.

Hall, who has yet to take his college entrance exams, chose USC over offers from St. John's, Texas Tech, Maryland, Hofstra, Fordham and Dayton.
