2-star power forward Donovan Jack (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) has been granted a release from his letter of intent to Duquesne, according to the Reading Eagle.

Jack committed to the Dukes in September and signed in November but had a change of heart when the school fired Ron Everhart in March. He met with new coach Jim Ferry last week and decided to look at other options.

"The meeting went well," his father, Curt Jack told the paper. "We had a good conversation, he explained his system and how he felt D.J. would fit into it, which was all good. We came out with information that was useful to us to start making a decision."
