A former McDonald's All-American and ESPNU's second ranked center from 2011 will suit up for UNLV in late 2012, the school announced on Monday.
Khem Birch (Montreal, Que./Notre Dame Prep) decided a few weeks ago to transfer from Pittsburgh and made it official on Monday when he signed a financial aid offer.
"We are excited to have Khem join our program," Rebels head coach Dave Rice said. "He is a versatile forward who will be a terrific player in our up-tempo system. He is a dominant defender and a great teammate."
