Six-foot-3 shooting guard DeMarcus Holland (Garland, Texas/Naaman Forest H.S.) ended his recruitment on Monday, choosing the University of South Florida. The news was first reported by www.scouthoops.com and then confirmed via Holland's Twitter account.

"Just committed to South Florida (Big East) Im reallly excited man", Holland wrote.

Holland is the fourth recruit for head coach Stan Heath and his staff in the 2012 class. Heath signed shooting guard Javontae Hawkins (Flint, Mich./Huntington Prep), center Waverly Austin (Fredericksburg, Va./Palm Beach State College) and guard Musa Abdul-Aleem (Atlanta/Georgia Perimeter College) in November.

ESPN.com Recruiting Coordinator Reggie Rankin described Holland as "a combo-guard who can score and has good upside. Stan Heath sees some strong potential in him."
