ESPNU 100 point guard Ryan Arcidiacono (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy H.S.) will sit out his senior year of hoops with a back injury, he confirmed to www.phillyBurbs.com.
Arcidiacono will undergo surgery in the next few weeks for a herniated disc in his back. He has not played basketball since June due to his condition.
"It's a tough decision and I'm disappointed," he told the news site. "I'm disappointed that I won't be able to play basketball for Neshaminy this year. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to play with my fellow seniors. But we felt this was the right decision to make."
