Two Gamecock pledges will sign late

According to the Spartanburg Herald-Journal, South Carolina recruits Carlos Morris (Jacksonville, Fla./Arlington Country Day) and Ian Baker(Washington, D.C./Arlington Country Day) will not sign official letters of intent until the spring. Sources say that the duo will not rescind their verbal commitments to the Gamecocks.

USC head coach Darrin Horn did announce the signing of center Tyrone Haughton (Miami, Fla/Dr. Krop H.S.) this week.

"We are really excited about Tyrone Haughton," Horn said on the school's website. "He is a young man that has tremendous athletic ability. He is a high-energy guy that does what he does well every time he steps between the lines. He is a terrific rebounder, shot blocker and defender everywhere on the floor with great athleticism even at 6'10, a guy that can get to the offensive glass and finish around the basket. Maybe his best quality is that he is just going to continue to get better and better. He is going to get bigger and stronger and be a huge athletic body in the SEC for us one day."
