Senior point guard Darius Thompson (Murfreesboro, Tenn./Blackman) has decided to re-open his recruitment and is no longer committed to Vanderbilt, according to the Daily News Journal (Murfreesboro, Tenn.).
Vanderbilt recently landed transfer point guard Eric McClellan (Tulsa), which played in to Thompson's decision to decommit.
"At the time of his commitment we didn't know (about McClellan)," Darius' father Lonnie Thompson told the paper. "We overlooked it. We though he was competing with (current guard) Kedren Johnson."
