The Richmond Spiders nabbed a verbal commitment on Monday from wing guard Josh Jones (Memphis, Tenn./Central), according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Jones chose the Spiders over New Mexico State, St. Louis, Southern Illinois, Murray State and VCU.
"I feel real comfortable with [Richmond's playing] style, and when I visited, I got along real well with everybody," he told the paper.
Jones will join former Navy small forward J.J. Avila (McAllen, Texas/South Texas College) in the Spiders' 2013 class.
