New Binghamton head coach Tommy Dempsey landed his first 2013 recruit on Monday with a commitment from point guard Yacob Yosef (Chester, Pa./John Carroll), according to the Press & Sun-Bulletin.
The 6-footer chose the Bearcats over New Hampshire, Rider and St. Francis (Pa.).
"Coach Dempsey has been recruiting me for a long time," Yacob told the paper. "He's been loyal. I've seen him at a lot of my games. I like the staff. It's a good school. It's hard not to like it."
Dempsey left Rider in May to take over the BU program.
