ESPN 100 guard Zach LaVine (Bothell, Wash./Bothell H.S.) made his college decision on Wednesday night with a verbal commitment to UCLA.
The 6-foot-3 LaVine chose the Bruins over Louisville, Gonzaga, Washington and Washington State.
"It just seemed like the best fit," he told The Seattle Times. "It's a home away from home for me. It just seemed like the right time."
After landing the No. 1 class in 2012, head coach Ben Howland has his first recruit for the 2013 group.
