Senior guard Caris LeVert (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central) committed to Michigan on Friday giving the Wolverines a late addition to their Top 25 class. The news was reported by www.annarbor.com.

"He's committed to Michigan and he's just so excited about that opportunity," Pickerington Central head coach Jerry Francis told the site.

LeVert originally signed a letter of intent with Ohio University but was granted a release when head coach Jim Groce left for Illinois.

He joins a class currently ranked No. 12 on ESPN.com and features three ESPN 100 prospects including small forward Glenn Robinson III (St. John, Ind./Lake Central), power forward Mitch McGary (Chesterton, Ind./Brewster Academy) and small forward Nik Stauskas (Mississauga, Ont./St. Mark's School) along with point guard Spike Albrecht (Crown Point, Ind./Northfield-Mt. Hermon).
