Point guard Jevon Thomas (Quality Education Academy) will not suit up for Dayton next season, instead the Queens, N.Y. native will spend a fifth year at a prep school, the New York Post reported on Monday.
Thomas remains committed to Dayton and is expected to re-sign with the Flyers in November. He originally committed to St. John's as a junior before re-opening his recruitment last summer.
Head coach Archie Miller still has two signed prospects arriving in the fall, forwards Devon Scott (Columbus, Ohio/Northland) and Jalen Robinson (Columbus, Ohio/Northland).
