Point guard Trevis Wyche (Jersey City, N.J./St. Peter's Prep) has made a verbal commitment to St. Peter's University.

Wyche posted on his Twitter account:

"SPU bound."

The 6-foot, 160-pounder averaged 13 points, 8.3 assists, 4.2 rebounds and three steals per game last season, but his high school coach Todd Decker believes he's only getting better, according to the Star-Ledger:

"I think he's just starting to scratch the surface of what he can become as a player. He's a competitor, he likes to mix it up, he likes to get up and down the floor. He brings it every day and as a coach you can't really ask for anything more than that."
