6-foot-2 point guard Marquise Moore (Flushing, N.Y./St. Thomas More) verbally committed to Hofstra on Sunday, according to the N.Y. Post.

The post-grad chose the Pride over Rider, Marist, Cleveland State and Fairfield.

"After my visit, I just felt real comfortable with the school, the coaches, and I just felt like I wanted to be a part of [the program]," he told the paper. "I really liked how everybody in the school is so close. It's a family atmosphere."

Moore is the fourth commitment for Hofstra in the 2013 class and the third since the end of the early signing period. SG Gervelle Kidd (Chatham, Va./Hargrave Military) inked in the fall while SF Rich Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y./Vermont Academy) and PG Amadi Udenyi (Oakland, Calif./St. Thomas More) committed in January.

New Binghamton head coach Tommy Dempsey landed his first 2013 recruit on Monday with a commitment from point guard Yacob Yosef (Chester, Pa./John Carroll), according to the Press & Sun-Bulletin.

The 6-footer chose the Bearcats over New Hampshire, Rider and St. Francis (Pa.).

"Coach Dempsey has been recruiting me for a long time," Yacob told the paper. "He's been loyal. I've seen him at a lot of my games. I like the staff. It's a good school. It's hard not to like it."

Dempsey left Rider in May to take over the BU program.

Class of 2012 guard Joe Bramanti (Andover, Mass./Brewster Academy) put an end to his recruitment on Friday with a pledge to Wright State, according to the Dayton Daily News.

The 6-foot-2 Bramanti chose the Raiders over The Citadel, Jacksonville, Wofford and Rider.

"I pretty much liked everything about Wright State," he told the paper. "The situation was perfect for me. It being far away from home was the only drawback I saw. Athletically, it's a great spot. The facilities are amazing. All the coaches I love, and all the players I love, so it was a perfect spot for me."

Playing along side six future Division I players, Bramanti helped Brewster to a 33-1 record and a National Prep Championship this past season.

The Baltimore Sun reported on Sunday that Mount St. Joseph small forward Phillip Lawrence has verbally committed to Marist.

Lawrence chose the Red Foxes over Jacksonville, Loyola, Radford, Rider and Siena.

"It feels great," he told the paper. "Everybody's congratulating me and I feel like I did it. I had a good summer and it paid off. Playing for Philly's Finest really paid off."

He is the second recruit for Marist in 2012 along with center Eric Truog (Chagrin Falls, Ohio).
