First-year head coach Steve Wojciechowski announced the signing of three ESPN 100 prospects to Marquette's 2015 class on Wednesday.

Joining the Golden Eagles are power forward Henry Ellenson (No. 4 overall), point guard Nick Noskowiak (No. 70) and shooting guard Haanif Cheatham (No. 80). Four-star center Matt Heldt is also a member of Marquette's incoming class.

"All four of the young men in this class represent what we want in basketball players at Marquette," Wojciechowski said. "They each have high character, are good students, and own a passion for the game of basketball. They come from great families and were raised with the right values. We couldn't be more excited to welcome them to our family at Marquette and look forward to each of them making an impact on the campus community, both as people and as players."

Marquette's class is ranked No. 4 by ESPN.com.
Marquette landed a huge verbal commitment on Thursday morning, as Henry Ellenson, the 4th ranked player in the ESPN 100, opted to stay close to home and play for the Golden Eagles instead of entertaining Michigan State or Kentucky. Here is a look at what Ellenson will bring to the Big East:

#AskCoachB: Better fit for Wisconsin

Want to ask ESPN RecruitingNation national recruiting director Paul Biancardi a question about basketball recruiting? Tweet it to @PaulBiancardi using the hashtag #AskCoachB.

The simple and best answer for the first question is: both. They are each outstanding big men in the Class of 2015.

Henry Ellenson is a strong and skilled post player with excellent shooting range and plenty of upside. The Badgers have been on him and are making him a priority. He was in attendance at the Kohl Center when Wisconsin recently beat Michigan State.

Diamond Stone is in the Badgers' back yard and his name has been on our boards since his freshman season. He is a legit 6-foot-10 post who has the skill to face the basket with post moves. That's rare at such a young age. He still needs to learn how to give maximum effort all the time, however.

Both fit extremely well in Bo Ryan's system because the Wisconsin coach has been successful utilizing big men who face the basket.

I believe Stone has the better chance of staying in state. He has two outstanding options in Marquette and Wisconsin.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The USA Basketball Developmental National Team minicamp featured some of the nation's best high school talent representing the classes of 2014, 2015 and 2016. Head coach Don Showalter and his staff put the players through numerous intense and competitive drills, controlled scrimmages and game situations in this four-workout, two-day minicamp.

Note: ESPN 100 No. 1 overall player Jahlil Okafor didn't play on Day 1 after rolling his ankle during a one-on-one in the post drill.

Here are a few players who were impressive this weekend from the ESPN 100, 60 and 25 rankings.

ESPN 100 Standouts

Best Motor
Myles Turner (Bedford, Texas/Trinity)
C, 6-foot-11, 225 pounds
Considering: Kansas, Ohio State, Texas, Duke, Arizona, Kentucky, Louisville, Oklahoma State

Turner's talent and shot blocking is well-documented, but his consistent motor also makes the big fella special. Regardless of the outcome of the possession, Turner never stops playing. He runs, jumps and competes at a high level, which makes him stand out.

ESPN 100 shooting guard Sandy Cohen (Green Bay, Wis./Seymour) put an end to his recruitment on Saturday when he verbally committed to Marquette, ESPN.com has confirmed.

The 6-foot-6 Cohen is currently ranked No. 70 overall and No. 14 at his position in the Class of 2014. He chose the Golden Eagles over offers from Creighton, George Washington, La Salle, Minnesota and Memphis.

Cohen joins four-star power forward Malek Harris (Orland Park, Ill./Sandburg) in head coach Buzz Williams' 2014 class.
Four-star combo forward Malek Harris (Orland Park, Ill./Carl Sandburg) committed to Marquette on Wednesday over offers from the likes of DePaul, Illinois State, Iowa, Kansas State, Miami (Ohio), Purdue, Oregon State and St. Louis to give the Golden Eagles their first 2014 pledge.

"I always had a gut feeling about Marquette, I just wanted to give other schools an opportunity to recruit me,” Harris said. “Once they offered, they made me a priority. I love coach Buzz [Williams] and I think I fit in with everything they do and I could really see myself there. They have a lot of guys on the team that are just like me. It just was a good fit in every way."

Harris is indeed a great fit at Marquette. So what is the strength of his game and what will he bring to the Golden Eagles?

Momentum is a powerful thing in the world of college basketball recruiting. While it tends to be a constant for a select few national powerhouses like Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina and Kansas, virtually all other programs in the country are constantly competing for any edge that can push them to that next level.

In the wake of our initial 2014 ESPN 100 player rankings release last week and as we start a team-by-team breakdown of 2014 recruiting targets by conference over the next two weeks, here’s a look at five college hoops programs that are heading into the 2014 recruiting class with some very positive momentum.

"Deonte was the first in this class to commit and I have a distinct memory of his family and coach in my office when it happened," Williams said. "The love and support for Deonte by his parents and coach was as transparent as I had ever seen in that type of setting. His loyalty has been shown every day since then and I am humbled by that."

Burton will be joined by ESPN 100 recruits Duane Wilson (Milwaukee, Wisc./Domincan) and JaJuan Johnson (Memphis, Tenn./Southwind) along with PG John Dawson (Clovis, N.M./Clovis) and junior college transfer Jameel McKay (Milwaukee, Wisc./Indian Hills C.C.).
