Scout's Take: Kerwin Roach to Texas

On his 18th birthday, ESPN 100 shooting guard Kerwin Roach made his college decision and picked Texas over Wichita State and California. During Roach's junior year he had one only scholarship offer and that was from Rice, but during this past summer he performed extremely well at various camps and events and his recruiting blew up. This gives Longhorns coach Rick Barnes his fourth ESPN 100 player in the past two years. Let's breakdown Roach's game and see what he will bring to the Longhorns.

Mason made his decision following his official visit to Lawrence, Kan., this weekend. The post-grad prospect originally signed with Towson as a senior last year but opted for a fifth year.

Just days after Oakland Soldiers teammate Jabari Bird (Richmond, Calif./Salesian) confirmed that he will take an official visit to Oregon this fall, the top player on the West Coast announced that Dana Altman's program will get one of his official visits.

Five-star forward Aaron Gordon (San Jose, Calif./Archbishop Mitty) said today that he will definitely visit Oregon and Arizona in addition to Washington, who is thought to be the leader for his commitment.
