A number of state tourney championships were decided this past week, and as you can expect, the nation’s top recruits were front and center during their team’s runs. Here’s a look at the top performances of the past week (March 4-11) from some of the top players in the country, ranked in our ESPN 100, 60 and 25.
No. 2 Jabari Parker, SF
Parker scored 17 points, pulled down seven rebounds and added four steals and three assists as Simeon hammered DuSable 73-38 on Wednesday. In Friday’s much-anticipated matchup with Whitney Young, Parker scored 29 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Simeon won the Argo Sectional in a 69-51 victory.
