A few thoughts about player rankings

I totally understand the excitement players, parents, fans and some coaches have about prospect rankings. It's an opportunity to be part of an elite group within your graduating class, put you in consideration to be a McDonald's All American, provide a great amount of publicity, and give a sense of pride for your high school, travel team, city and state.

In short, it is something to be proud of for the rest of your life.
