UNC gets high-upside post to develop

Kennedy Meeks (Charlotte, N.C./West Charlotte), the No. 20 overall porspect in the ESPN 100, had a difficult decision to make. Go to UNC, an in-state school with a Hall of Fame head coach in Roy Williams, or go to Georgetown, a school that has a national reputation in the development of post players. At the end of the recruiting process, he decided to stay home and said there are quite a few reasons why he is excited to be a Tar Heel.
"Coach Williams is a humble man and motivates me," Meeks said. "The fans and atmosphere is great and they have a history of success."
