How Brice Johnson fits at North Carolina

Brice Johnson (Cordova, S.C./Edisto) always had the potential to be a difference maker in the paint but it wasn't until this past summer that he showed it, which is when his recruitment sky-rocketed.

The 6-foot-9 power forward possesses an enormous wing span, along with the physical tools and skills college coaches yearn for. Johnson is a lean forward who changes the game with his ultra athletic ability and length on both ends of the floor.

On offense, he is a force in transition and in the half-court set. Johnson will run the floor and get a tip dunk in a moment's notice, score with a jump hook or knock down shots fom 15- to17-feet. In the half-court set look for coach Roy Williams to get Johnson involved in a high-low post game or use ball screen action to allowing him to roll to the rim or pop to the midrange area.
