LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- AAU Nationals started pool play on Friday, while the Super Showcase moved into bracket play -- meaning win or go home. Here is a look at who stood out:
2013, SF, 6-foot-7, 190 pounds
His scoring and rebounding were impressive as he went for a double-double in his only game of the day. He has a long, lanky and athletic frame and many tools to score the ball. Roberson has a sweet stroke out to 18 feet and is more than capable beyond the arc. He also does a fantastic job on the glass, especially on the defensive boards, as he grabs the rebound with two hands and at times starts the break. He shows a little wiggle with his dribble to shake free and avoid defenders and get to the rim, where he uses length and touch to score. However, his free throw percentage needs to improve. He is hearing from Syracuse, Villanova, Pittsburg, Alabama, SMU, South Carolina, Florida and Kansas.
Standout players
