We're approaching the one-month mark of the NBA's regular season and veteran shooting guard Ray Allen remains unsigned. But according to ESPN's Chris Broussard, seven teams have shown interest in the league's all-time 3-point king.

ESPN's Marc Stein and Brian Windhorst reported Tuesday that the Chicago Bulls are making a push for Minnesota's All-Star power forward Kevin Love. On Wednesday, one report indicates that the Bulls are even willing to include 2014 lottery pick Doug McDermott in a package to bring Love to the Windy City.

The Chicago Bulls will waive Andrew Bynum by Tuesday's deadline to drop his salary cap number from $12.25 million to $6 million. Once the move is finalized the Bulls will be just under ($548,798) the luxury tax line, which is a key point of the trade sending Luol Deng to the Cavaliers.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and when Chicago resorted to signing D.J. Augustin a week-and-a-half ago it felt like a pretty desperate measure. Augustin, a first-round pick by Charlotte in 2008, had been cut by Toronto after barely come off the bench in 10 games for the Raptors this season.

Fast-forward to today, and it's incredible how quickly things have changed. Kirk Hinrich's lingering back troubles have opened the door for Augustin to come in and start, and he's made the most of the opportunity.
