LeBron not done tinkering with FT's
By Nick Borges
LeBron James' goal is to keep improving as a basketball player and his focus right now is to shoot at least 80 percent from the free throw line. During the regular season he made 75.3 percent to raise his career average to 74.7 percent. James says a lot of it is in his head.
“My mind is just crazy sometimes,” James told the Palm Beach Post prior to Game 2 against Chicago. “My mind doesn’t settle right with my free throws. I shot the ball really well in Game 1, too, from the free throw line.”
James and the Heat crushed Chicago in Game 2, but he once again has issues at the line as he made just 4-of-8 free throws. James so badly wants to improve that he keeps tinkering with his form and routine.
"That’s probably my 75th time changing my free throws since I’ve been an NBA player," James said. "If I miss about four or five of them, then I’ll change it again.”
