Ginobili's next contract
By Nick Borges
Manu Ginobili will become a free agent on July 1 and the 11-year NBA veteran isn't ready to retire.
"Ask me right now and I’d like to play two more years for sure,” Ginobili tells the San Antonio Express-News.
Tim Duncan and Tony Parker have deals that expire in 2015, so it would make sense for the Spurs to only offer a two-year contract that starts at a discount from his 2012-13 salary worth $14.10 million.
Ginobili turns 36 in July and he should be able to stay fresh for two more years with younger players like Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Nando de Colo and Gary Neal having major roles on the team.
