Gordon to remain on trade block
By Nick Borges
The New Orleans Hornets were open to trading Eric Gordon up to the NBA deadline on Thursday, but the team didn't receive any offers to tempt them to deal the reportedly unhappy shooting guard. Gordon will likely go back on the block in April.
John Reid of The Times-Picayune writes: "It has been become clear the franchise likely will remain open to trading him after this season ends, according to sources."
Two possible destinations in July include the Indiana Pacers and Phoenix Suns, who signed him to an offer sheet last July and can't acquire him until one year has passed since New Orleans matched it.
