Wayns' 10-day contract expires Thursday

The 10-day contract rookie point guard Maalik Wayns signed Jan. 8 expires on Thursday and he doesn't know if the Sixers are going to offer a second deal.
“I just take it one step at a time,” Wayns tells phillyBurbs.com. “Whatever happens, happens.”
Wayns has only played once since he signed the 10-day deal and the team can give him one more, release him, or offer a rest-of-season contract beginning on Friday. He should get a second 10-day contract and when that expires the Sixers will likely bring in another point guard.
