Lee on Grizz radar?

The Memphis Grizzlies are currently $7.96 million below the luxury tax line and they have been on the phones trying to add some depth to the squad while staying under the threshold.
According to Ric Bucher, the Grizzlies had discussions regarding Courtney Lee, but nothing came of it.
Memphis has seven trade exceptions, including one for $7.48 million from Rudy Gay, that can be used to bring in players without sending them out, or to make a deal that is lopsided salary-wise.
Head coach Lionel Hollins has bemoaned that lack of depth behind starting center Marc Gasol and that will likely be the focus of Memphis' revamped basketball operations department.
