Williams' outlook for 2013-14

By Nick Borges

Louis Williams had surgery on Thursday to repair his torn right ACL and the procedure was successful reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to the newspaper, Williams is expected to need six to nine months to fully recover. That timeline should have him available for the start of next season.

Williams had played well for the Hawks this season and he will have a vital role in 2013-14 as the team should see a large turnover of the roster. Nine players on the current roster are set to be free agents beginning in July.
