The Lakers medical team will re-evaluate Blake about a week after receiving the injection.

Steve Blake is recovering from abdominal surgery and now he has another issue to deal with. According to The Orange County Register, the point guard is feeling pain in a muscle close to his groin and that is limiting his movement.

"We're in a holding pattern now,"said Lakers' team doctor Steve Lombardo. "Hypothetically, if he doesn't get better ... (doctors) will access whether anything further needs to be done to this other muscle that was a lesser part of the problem when it began."

According to the report, Blake will meet with a hernia specialist soon to determine a proper remedy for the pain. There remains no timeline for his return to the active roster.
