UPDATE: ESPNLosAngeles.com reports Steve Blake needs additional treatment for the groin issue and he is set to have a cortisone shot on Sunday in San Jose, CA.
----
The Lakers medical team will re-evaluate Blake about a week after receiving the injection.
"We're in a holding pattern now,"said Lakers' team doctor Steve Lombardo. "Hypothetically, if he doesn't get better ... (doctors) will access whether anything further needs to be done to this other muscle that was a lesser part of the problem when it began."
According to the report, Blake will meet with a hernia specialist soon to determine a proper remedy for the pain. There remains no timeline for his return to the active roster.
