Pekovic's future with the Wolves

Nikola Pekovic is set to become a restricted free agent in July and his preference is to re-sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"I like everything about Minnesota," Pekovic tells the Pioneer Press. "First of all, I like the team. I think we can do a lot when we're healthy. I like the coaching staff."
Pekovic is making $4.83 million this season and his next deal will give him a significant raise. Pekovic could sign an offer sheet with another team, Portland may make a run at him, however the Wolves are expected to match it.
