Melo's offseason workout plan
By Nick Borges
Carmelo Anthony is fully aware that winning the Eastern Conference this coming season is going to be difficult and that's why he''s spent the summer out in Los Angeles working with his trainer.
"Among the many things that make him great is his willingness to evolve," Idan Ravin tells ESPNNewYork.com's Jared Zwerling. "We constantly look for ways to add new wrinkles to his game. Defenses and defenders become more sophisticated each year, so we always look for ways to counter this. He has been consistent and methodical with his training, as well as meticulous with his diet, avoiding the processed and refined sugars."
One area that Anthony is working on is pick-and-rolls as he ran just 184 last season. He and Tyson Chandler could form one of the best P-N-R duos in the NBA.
"I want to continue doing that and figuring that part out, but that comes along with the territory and the game situation," Anthony said.
