KD to OKC fans: Don't worry
By Nick Borges
Yes, Kevin Durant is now represented by Jay-Z's new agency, Roc Nation Sports, but that doesn't mean he's angling to get out of Oklahoma City.
“He has nothing to do with if I'm going to leave OKC or none of that,” Durant told The Oklahoman. “I heard that before so put that out on the table. He has nothing to do with that. He knows his lane with me. Their team knows their lane with me. And they're letting me handle the basketball part. I would tell fans not to worry about that at all."
Durant has three years and $56.98 million remaining on his contract, which means he can't become a free agent until 2016. He and the Thunder can agree to an extension before the summer of 2016 if they want, which would increase his time with the team.
