Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne report this afternoon that the trade talks between the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers have relaunched, and the key to the deal now revolves around Jason Terry (owed $10.625 total over the next two seasons) and Courtney Lee (owed $16.3 million total over the next three seasons), not Eric Bledsoe.
According to the report, sources indicate that if the Clippers are willing to take on one of the two pricy contracts as an alternative to dealing Bledsoe, a deal could be completed as soon as later today or on Tuesday.
If it happens, here's what the deal would look like:
- Rivers, Garnett and Terry/Lee to L.A.
